Job Description

  • Support initiatives that align people strategies with business objectives 
  • Participate in Talent and Engagement initiatives such as succession planning, talent reviews, career development, performance management, and compensation planning 
  • Support the creation and administration of people policies and processes
  • Provide coaching and support to employees as they navigate growth, development, and performance situations at work
  • Provide coaching and consultation to supervisors and managers regarding employee relations concerns, partnering effectively with Director, HRBP and/or Legal as appropriate 
  • Collaborate with the HR team to support the HR agenda, people initiatives and timelines 
  • Leverage business acumen to inform and support people initiatives
  • Conduct analytics, use data and present insights to support people projects and initiatives
  • Foster a culture that supports personal growth and development 

Qualifications

  • BA or BS from an accredited college or university 
  • 3-7 years’ experience as an HRBP, in HR, talent acquisition, HR operations
  • Familiar with Talent processes including formal talent reviews, succession planning, performance and salary calibration sessions 
  • Knowledge of Compensation strategies and processes. Experience engaging with a compensation structure to inform compensation recommendations for hiring and talent development purposes 
  • Ability to leverage employment laws that impact HR policies and practices 
  • Ability to deal promptly and effectively with adverse situations and maintain professionalism and composure. 
  • Exemplary communication (both verbal and written) and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
  • Outgoing, people-oriented, helpful, and positive attitude with a customer-centric approach to working with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Tech savvy, with proficient computer skills (including experience with multiple HR systems and databases) and comfortable with capturing and interpreting metrics.
