Job Description

Appcast is looking for an experienced FinancialForce Administrator with an accounting, FinancialForce, and Salesforce background to support our financial ERP system (FinancialForce).

As part of the growing Operations and Systems Teams at Appcast, the FinancialForce Administrator will be integral in helping to implement FinancialForce, train the finance and accounting team, and streamline the operations of the business by working closing with our finance, operations/IT, and sales departments.

Responsibilities

  • Help lead the implementation of FinancialForce
  • Train accounting and finance team members on the use of FinancialForce
  • Perform daily administration and support of FinancialForce as well as our Salesforce CRM, which weave together into a native environment
  • Provide first-level support to FinancialForce and Salesforce end users to solve troubleshooting, support change requirements, and address service issues
  • Assist with month-end financial close processes, including but not limited to accounts payable closing, accounts receivable closing, and revenue recognition
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and/or outside consultants on complex requests and changes as the FinancialForce/Salesforce solution evolves across the Appcast enterprise
  • Coordinate with FinancialForce support and Salesforce support to troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth operation and performance of the platform
  • Assist with implementing/testing new releases and service packs for the FinancialForce package
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and related help materials for users as the FinancialForce/Salesforce environment is developed
  • Develop and manage in-depth customized reports and dashboards
  • Stay up to date on new Salesforce, FinancialForce, and IT-related features and functionality; provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Conduct FinancialForce user training and ongoing enablement; serve as the subject matter expert

Qualifications

  • Background in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Knowledge of core financial areas, including GAAP accounting rules, standards, and procedures
  • 5+ years of experience as a Financial System Administer or similar role
  • 1+ years of experience as a FinancialForce Administrator
  • 1+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Working knowledge of various secondary products and solutions offered by Salesforce, as well as the ability to teach basic Salesforce functions
  • Familiar with Conga and related financial system applications
  • Highly communicative and strong ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Expected Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000
