Job Description

The role:

Working with the StepStone Digital Group Ops team and Group Comms teams, you will central to insuring the right message gets to the right person at the right time, and bringing people together as part of the StepStone Digital family. You will be working closely with technologies such as SharePoint, Mailchimp and WordPress to maximise the effect of any communication campaign. 

What you will do:  

  • Own StepStone Digital written comms including Weekly Digest, Talking Points etc 
  • Work with senior stakeholders to scope business communications across topics such as HR, Future of Work, Peakon, Events, Transformation and more. 
  • Develop and execute a external social media presence across multiple channels that builds excitement and brand awareness externally for StepStone Digital and its leaders. 
  • Continuously strive to increase engagement across multiple channels through testing new techniques and new technology, while reducing unwanted emails/messages. 

Qualifications

We know looking for a new job can be scary, and sometimes the list of skills you are asked for can seem exhaustive. Below are a few of the skills we look for, but please do not be put off applying if you do not have every single one of them!

  • Good written and spoken English with strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design abilities, together with the ability to present concepts verbally. 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media 
  • Background, or degree in Marketing or Communication  
  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint, WordPress and Mailchimp 
  • Great Team player, with excellent organisational and planning skills 
  • A relentless desire to find ways to get people to engage and communicate. 
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach
