Job Description

The role:

The Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for the delivery of a proactive and customer-focused HR service across Stepstone Atlantic. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering the Stepstone Atlantic HR strategy across multiple offices delivering towards a consistent operating model. The company is facing an exciting growth plan and trajectory and the right person will understand the linkage between people and commercial success. The Human Resources Business Partner role will partner with the Atlantic Leadership Team, Head of HRBPs, and the entire leadership team and play a crucial role in the transformation of culture, HR operating routines, change management, and leadership expectations in the market.  This role will be accountable for full employee experience within support groups.  This role will be supported by Centres of Excellence (COEs) to ensure consistent delivery of HR best practice: Talent Acquisition (TA), Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, and Talent & Development (T&D).

Business Partner:

  • Review and analyse business metrics including data on retention and employee engagement in order to recommend systemic improvements. 
  • Partner with senior leaders and their leadership teams to develop the talent strategy needed to support our tremendous growth and build a work environment where employees can thrive and grow.
  • Work closely with specialist central HR teams, as well as matrixed site and international HR colleagues, keep the right focus on assessing the HR needs in areas such as performance management, talent acquisition, career development, diversity, and compensation/rewards.
  • Partner with the talent acquisition team to build systemic and scalable recruiting programs to create a sustainable pipeline of talent.

Employee Relations:

  • Advise and coach leaders on escalated employee issues and act as senior point of contact and subject matter expert on complex employment cases and projects and provide HR related advice across the generalist range of the role. 
  • Provide advice and support to employees and managers in all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment and selection, onboarding, induction, performance management, employee relations, engagement, and wellbeing.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and develop excellent relationships across stakeholders, including the leadership team and frontline employees. 
  • Coach and influence the senior leadership team to support development and learning.
  • Provide in-depth advice and guidance to internal customers on HR policies and procedures to ensure they are supported in their decisions and roles as people managers.

Change Management:

  • Lead in the design and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to deliver change.
  • Partner and coach managers through change
  • Lead organisational change programmes, including restructuring, redundancy consultation, and other Employee Relations (ER) issues

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years HR Business Partner experience, including experience working with an influencing senior management in a large, multinational organisation.
  • HR strategic mindset, successfully lead, drive & deliver key projects.
  • Demonstrate the ability to coach, support, challenge, motivate and influence others.
  • Possess strong change management, negotiation and influencing skills, to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Able to apply a commercial approach and business acumen to ensure service is aligned to business goals and that the HR agenda supports the business objectives.
  • Passionate about HR, ability to continuously engage our employees and senior leadership.
  • Experience of managing a cultural shift or transformational change
  • Ideal candidate to have worked in a matrix organisation within a high growth/evolving EMEA or global team.
