Job Description

Your responsibilities

The HR department located in Brussels provides HR support to StepStone Belgium, France and Luxembourg.
As HR Assistant you will be working closely with the HR Manager and the team. Your main responsibilities will cover the following:

  • Maintain on and off boarding processes
  • HR data input and processing
  • Gathering of payroll data and related administrative tasks
  • Employment contracts and update of records
  • Co-ordinating induction program for new starters
  • Stay updated on the legal HR requirements and ensure that we are complying;
  • Filing and general record keeping
  • Other Ad hoc projects, HR related tasks
     

We are looking for a colleague who has also interest in supporting the team with recruitment and with HR related projects

  • management of the recruitment platform
  • sourcing activities

Qualifications

Your profile

The candidate we are looking for should ideally have the following profile:

  • You have an excellent business knowledge of French and Dutch (written and spoken) and a very good knowledge of English;
  • You have a knowledge and experience with Belgian labor law and payroll;
  • Having knowledge and/or experience with French and/or Luxembourg labor law is a plus;
  • You own a Bachelor or Master Degree and have a minimum of 1 years experience gained in a similar role
  • A first experience in recruitment is a plus
  • A 'whatever it takes to get the job done' attitude
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, flexible and capable to deal with a high workload and a fast changing environment;
  • Strong team player
  • Attention to detail, execution, and follow-through and multi tasking;
  • Open minded and proactive person who can identify ways to improve processes
