What will this role look like on a day-to-day basis? Some skills you might have:

• Collaborate with a talented team of engineers to support back-end, performance, and front-end testing
• Write automated tests to verify new and existing functionality in our Django/DRF API and React front-end applications
• Expand and maintain the automated functional tests for our UI
• Identify gaps and opportunities to expand existing test case coverage
• Understand product requirements to develop and execute test plans for new features and functions
• Run test suites, identify and log bugs
• Prioritize automated and manual tests balancing release efficiency and risk
• Partner with the engineering team to integrate test suites into our continuous integration system

We know looking for a new job can be scary, and sometimes the list of skills you are asked for can seem exhaustive. Below are a few of the skills we look for, but please do not be put off applying if you do not have every single one of them!

• Written high-coverage automated unit and integration tests along with conducting hands-on QA of web applications
• Worked with test frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Nosetest, Cucumber, etc
• Followed industry best practices in automated and manual software testing
• Developed and executed full test plans for major releases of a product
• Experience with continuous integration environments and writing testable software
• Working knowledge of popular web frameworks (ideally Django, or similar frameworks like Flask, Rails, etc
