Job Description

Working within Demand Generation, you will be part of the team that build creative digital marketing campaigns that engage and educate our B2B customers (hiring managers) about our products and recruitment solutions.  

Reporting to the Lead Generation & Campaign Manager, your role is to design and build advanced ABM email campaigns to acquire, grow and win-back our B2B customers, delivering high quality, high value leads through to the sales team.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Design and build sophisticated email marketing campaigns across the entire buying life-cycle to acquire, grow, retain and win-back customers. 

  • Optimise based on your own reporting and analysis, implementing a test and learn approach. 

  • Undertake email performance reporting, drawing actionable insights to help continuously optimise email performance. 

  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure email programmes reflect the strategic priorities of the business.  

  • Delivery of quality, high value leads to the sales organisation. 

  • Be the champion of email communication best practise. 

  • Support with the implementation of performance marketing campaigns on an ad-hoc basis.

Key performance indicators/Budget:

  •  Contribute to lead volume target of 50k in year. 

  • Help drive lead to contract conversion from 11% (2021) to 13% by end 2022. 

  • Establish new ways of working to improve processes and ultimately speed up email campaign delivery and accuracy. 

  • Be a guardian of our brand and visual identity across all email communications, positively impacting on unprompted brand awareness and positively influencing brand perception. 

  • Become experts in – and take ownership for - the end-to-end process of our email campaigns, so that opportunities for improvement can be identified.

Qualifications

Essential skills, know-how and experience:

  • Proven track record of managing and developing automated email lifecycle campaigns that contribute to lead generation. 

  • Strong understanding of email marketing principles, triggered email campaign testing, and performance optimisation.  

  • Experience in implementing highly targeted and segmented customer communications.  

  • Experience in reporting and analysis, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and recommendations.  

  • Strong understanding of customer data and segmentation. 

  • Strong experience of implementing email best practice. 

  • Previous experience of marketing automation systems (Selligent would be advantageous but not essential). 

  • Knowledge and understanding of CRM (Salesforce preferably). 

  • Experience of working in HTML advantageous.  

  • Creative individual, driven and passionate about the customer journey and lifecycle, data and marketing automation.  

  • Team player: has a positive attitude with excellent communications skills, able to work collaboratively in different scenarios.
