Job Description

Totaljobs is looking for a Business Strategy Analyst to support the commercial strategy team. This includes the preparation of Exec-level presentation materials for progress reviews as well as support and ownership across operational and strategic projects. This role lies within the commercial strategy department, reporting to the Strategy & GTM Programs Manager and partnering closely with other stakeholders and senior leaders across the business as needed. This includes regular interactions with the heads of commercial strategy, head of Business Intelligence, and the Director of Commercial Strategy as well as the CEO. The individual will gain significant exposure to strategic projects.  

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, business acumen, an analytical mindset and experience in project management and data analytics.  

Key Accountabilities & Deliverables:

  • Conduct analysis, research, and development of Exec-level presentation materials to support a wide range of strategic initiatives across the business – from strategy development to implementation of projects 

  • Coordinate and project manage internal initiatives & projects 

  • Research & prepare market and competitor analysis 

  • Provide recommendations as decision basis for management based on strategic analysis conducted 

  • Regular support in preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly progress review meetings 

  • Close collaboration with Strategy (direct & indirect heads of strategy), BI team management and all operational teams with possibility to extent collaboration to international StepStone group teams  

Qualifications

  • Excellent stakeholder partnership skills 

  • Project management (support) skills & experience 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 

  • Strong communication skills (written and oral, fluent English) 

  • Ability to prepare senior management presentations, including data analysis 

  • Highly organized, ability to meet tight timeframes, preferably with project management experience 

  • Structured, reliable, independent work style 

  • Willingness to perform, high professionalism and a strong team player 

  • Excellent MS Suite (Excel & PowerPoint) skills
