Role: Java Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 12 months 

 The persons would be involved in designing, developing, configuring and maintaining web applications hosted as standalone applications or in a Portal environment.

• Must have at least 5 years of programming experience 

• Must have excellent communications 

• Must be a team player

• Programming experience with Core Java and JEE technologies

• Hands-on experience with at least one Java based framework like Spring etc 

• Hands-on experience writing Unit tests

• Understanding of Web/App Servers like Apache HTTPD and Apache Tomcat

• Understanding of Web technologies

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies 

• Basic Scripting experience with JavaScript / JavaScript frameworks

• Basic SQL with Hands-on experience with any one RDBMS

• Have used JIRA / Wiki and other collaboration tools in a team environment

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration

• Knowledge of Code Quality Management tools

• Knowledge of SSO

• Liferay portal experience would be a plus

• HTML 5 would be a plus

• TDD experience would be plus
