Job description:

As a Microsoft Lync Solutions Architect in the Infrastructure - Unified Communications group, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of Microsoft Unified Communications (UC) solutions.

The ideal candidate for this role will have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Lync Enterprise Voice (EV) deployments, demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills, and is committed to Avanade’s high standard of project delivery and teamwork.

Successful candidates for this role will also be proficient in integrating with Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging, Office 365, PSTN gateways, IP Phones, and SCOM as well as possess advanced presentation skills

Skills Required:

Deep expertise in Microsoft solutions
Lync, AD, database, Exchange/Calendaring
Network Security
Excellent communication skills
Expert-level architectural, deployment, and troubleshooting knowledge of Lync Server, including IM/presence, conferencing, enterprise voice, SIPStack tracing, etc.
Very strong knowledge of Exchange Server 2007+, Active Directory, DNS, and networking.
