Position: Customer Engineer/ Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Northbrook, IL
Duration: Initial 3 months contract and then Full Time Permanent
Job Description:
Skillset I am looking for:
Certifications: A+
Strong people skills as interaction with end users happens every day.
Can work with a team, and possibly has team lead experience
Experienced with Lenovo and Dell computers
Experience or familiarity with Apple iPhones/iPads / Microsoft Surface Pro’s 2 and 3’s mostly
Experience with active Directory, SCCM and group policy parameters and usage
Experience with executive support
Daily operations would consist of:
New Hire Computer Builds (imaging hard drives)
Virus remediation: if re-image is required, data transfer will need to be done also.
Desktop break and Fix/Software support (will Train)
Computer Refresh of old lease equipment to new.
Periodic support of the IT Service walk-up counter
