1.       Technical Skills:

Must have prior working experience in the following:

• .NET (C#): Objects, Windows Forms, ADO.NET, web services, remoting, threading
• Oracle, Sybase, DB2 and/or SQL Server: schema, relations, stored procedures, functions, triggers
• Support of or development in a scripting environment
• Writing and executing test cases in an Agile and/or TDD environment
• Code promotion through the SLDC
• Documenting and debugging existing systems through code analysis

Experience in the following would be beneficial:

• Knowledge of portfolio accounting,  trade execution, and reconciliation
• Charles River
• LINQ, WPF, WCF
• Design patterns
• Advent Geneva
• Bloomberg Back Office/.NET API
• Knowledge of basic web server setup/configuration (IIS)
• Familiarity with Job Schedulers
• ITG Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA)
• FIX
• NUnit
• 3rd Party .NET GUI Frameworks

The individual must have:

• Three plus years of experience developing applications in the financial industry
• Strong C# .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server Development skills with an emphasis on service-oriented architecture
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented concepts
• Strong values and ethics
• Solid oral and written communication skills
