POSITION: Churn room operator

LOCATION: Nashua NH

JOB TYPE: Temp to hire

Shifts: 1st (5.00 AM – 3.30 PM ) - $13/hr – Monday to Friday

Qualifications and Training Requirements:

· Minimum education High School diploma. Some secondary or vocational training or equivalent experience desired.

· Basic reading and math skills sufficient to allow accurate execution of batch tickets and procedures.

· Train as per Churn Room category in Procedure # SAFETY-TRAIN training grid. Retrain every three years in Hazardous Waste Handling.

· Review department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with Department Supervisor.

Essential Elements:

· Work with formulas and department standard operating procedures, be familiar with reading and understanding them; take written or verbal directions from Department Supervisor.

· Use hand tools, small power tools, scales, pumps, valves, filters, controls, forklifts and drum handling equipment.

· Be able to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis without mechanical assistance.

· Be able to lift up to 650 pounds with mechanical assistance.

· Drawing-off batches according to formula specifications.

· Assist in loading and sampling of batches as specified by a formula.

· Maintain established quality and quantity standards. Follow prescribed safety precautions, established company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.

· Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and questionable conditions to Department Supervisor. Maintain work area(s) and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.

· Maintain daily production and formulation records as required.

· Perform other related duties as required.
