Through the generous support of our donors, we are able to provide job opportunities in the greater Memphis area, enrichment programs for our youth, and community engagements geared towards the commitment of rebuilding our city’s reputation and essence in our society as well.
Job Description
Director of Compliance and Internal Affairs
- Maintain and Update all Documentation and Forms Used within the company.
- Research, update, and maintain awareness of all nonprofit laws, policies and procedures.
- Keep track on all passwords, key locks, and other entrance information as necessary.
- Audit as crucial, any staff, employee, manager within the company for submission and review of company and state documentation.
- Develops surveys and Evaluations for the entire company.
- Collects data and evaluations from community for future company decisions, programs, and initiatives.
Director of Community Engagement
- Serve as the point of contact and liaison between company directors and community affiliates, companies, or services.
- Oversee, coordinates, and plans successful completion of all fiscal year programs, initiatives, and activities.
- Design company marketing materials fir events, programs, and initiatives based on theme of year.
- Leads Community Engagement internship program.
Director of Finance Activities
- Prepares all financial documentation and communication for review by the StellarU Board of Directors.
- Setting and Implementing financial targets.
- Research State and Local grants for financial support of company programs and activities.
- Leads Finance internship program.
Director of Curriculum and Instruction
- Serves as chair for the Board of Directors for Stellar University Charter School.
- Oversees the financial, curricular, operational development of the Stellar University Charter School.
- Communicates and decides final decision on all charter school matters where and as deemed necessary.
- Responsible for the development of all school documentation reports for review by the Shelby County Schools Board of Education as well as the Tennessee Department of Education.
Director of Informational Technology
- Makes sure all technology is maintained.
- Updates software as necessary within company for new features and programs.
- Leads Tech internship program.
Director of Creative and Performing Arts
- Coordinate, develop, and implement youth programs and initiatives.
- Create Budget Documentation and Requests for each event.
- Leads Performing Arts internship program.

Director of Marketing and Communications
- Serves as face of company when relaying announcements and statements.
- Develop and Create marketing events geared towards fulfilment of company employment opportunities, youth programs, as well as other announcements.
- Updates social media accounts and announcements as necessary.
- Sets target audience for different needs as company related.
- Leads Marketing Internship program.
Qualifications
HS Diploma Required.
Bachelors Degree Preferred. Not Required.
