Job Description

Provides support for the CI&PM team with budgeting function. While overall accountability for the budgets remains with the functions within CI&PM, the budget coordinator serves as the budget expert for the teams and is responsible for closely monitoring, updating and coordinating all of the budget activities. 

Responsibilities 

  • Manages the budget systems and processes for a media, CIS, CP, CRM & Culinary 
  • Sources estimates from team members and suppliers to use to open project accounts
  • Assists teams in budget process management, applications and systems. 
  • Uses Kraft-specific software (EMM/Aprimo) to set up spending budgets and project accounts
  • Processes all invoices against specific project accounts 
  • Provides regular regarding budget status to CI&PM functions 
  • Works with CI&PM functions to monitor changes in budget according to changes in projects and variances versus estimates
  • Maintains budget files and back-up for auditing purposes 
  • Manages the year-end accrual process 


Qualifications

  • Completed post secondary education in business administration or related field is required (college or university)
  • 1-2 years of related experience including previous budgeting experience and project management -a must
  • Time management, prioritization, organizational skills -multitasking a must. To work on 3 separate budgets with different teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent project management skills 
  • Strong proficiency with Systems, including MS Excel (very strong) 
  • Proven ability to build relationships and navigate through a large organization 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent language (English) skills 
  • Ability to work well in various teams 
  • Likely to extend past 3 months
