From estimating, detailing and design, to Erection and close out, our projects are handled in-house allowing us to adapt quickly to your project needs. Our certified welders and craftsman have the ability to weld and fabricate steel, stainless steel and aluminum. Mid-State Metals LLC is centrally located in Orlando, Florida. We have the ability to ship our custom products throughout the United States. We also erect our products on job sites throughout the Southeastern US.

Job Description

The Receptionist is responsible for creating a positive first impression for visitors and callers while providing reliable administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations.  This role requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 7:45am - 5:00pm.

  • Handle incoming phone calls and correspondence in a courteous and professional manner; direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
  • Great and assist visitors including customers, vendors and job applicants.
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering and maintaining office supplies.
  • Assist with data entry for various departments with a high attention to detail.
  • Support HR with new hire orientations by preparing materials and translation assistance.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, scanning, document preparation and mail distribution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations and organizational needs.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Professional, friendly, and customer-focused demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
