Function - Sales Admin Lead – ECS  (SEA)

Job Function  - Sales Support & Administration Operations Support

Cost Center - ECS GI & RE

Solid Line Manager -  Head of Sales & Services – ECS (SEA)

Subordinates - All ECS Sales Admin as dotted line (co-planner) 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Technical and disciplinary management of the Sales admin department
  • First level support for escalation cases in day-to-day business
  • Definition and assessment of annual goals for subordinates (Joint support with LDDs) thru regular exchange with LDDs in respective BU/SEA to update planning data.
  • Proactively design improvements in the area of work organization, work processes and the division of tasks in the area of responsibility
  • Review, control and enforce the higher-level decisions and regulations.
  • Promotion and development of direct reports in professional and social matters
  • Execution of communication in the context of organizational, process-related and content-related changes towards internal partners and subsidiaries as well as implementation of training courses
  • Work closely together with HoSS to build up and develop the new Operating model as preliminary defined

 

Operational tasks in the area of trouble-shooting : 

  • Handling requests escalated by Sales Admin Team
  • Regular processing & monitoring team & individual key performance
  • Trouble-shooting at the level of individual orders
  • Prioritize incoming customer orders when resources are scarce  
  • Effective coordination with in-house departments to improve availability at short notice
  • Proactive communication of delivery difficulties or capabilities with the affected departments from the branches (and reps) 
  • Facilitate regular exchange with relevant Production units
  • Role as SD/CS SAP Key users for regional
  • Servicing a limited client portfolio by prompt customer order entry in SAP. 
  • Creation of order confirmation (price - quantity - delivery time) and responsible for the returns and complaints process. 

Qualifications

  • Commercial training with technical flair, further training in business administration
  • Several years of successful experience in a similar position 
  • Experience in an international environment, preferably in the field of electrical connectors.
  • Good MS Office skills: Word, advanced Excel, PowerPoint
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP R3 ERP Module SD
  • Good language skills in English, both written and spoken
