Job Description
Integrated within the Southwest Europe Robotics Team the Area Sales Manager for Robotics Develop sales in a defined geographic sector with the objective of selling all Stäubli robots to clients (end customers, integrators, OEM manufacturers, partners) and prospects in the assigned sector.
For the Area Sales Manager role in the Robotics division for Spain and Portugal, this individual contributor role is reporting to the section manager and involving the following responsibilities and relationships:

- With the work team for the execution of assignments
- With Marketing for communication and marketing support
- With Sales Administration for monitoring offers and orders
- With Customer Support for feasibility studies of projects
- With Service Experts for monitoring customer issues
- With Commercial Services teams for pricing within the framework of client needs linked to services.
External relationships:
- With prospects and clients to approach, prospect and sell products.
- With partners to exchange information as part of supporting clients.
Main missions:
From objectives and priorities set by the manager, the person in the role must:
- Develop, coordinate and implement sales strategies
- Analyze and prioritize key client objectives
- Develop sales according to the defined strategy and customer portfolio
- Build networks of integrators and OEM equipment manufacturers
- Conduct commercial and financial negotiations
- Participate in and represent the company at events (trade fairs, congresses)
- Monitor business activity and provide regular reporting to the manager
- Prepare offers
- Monitor projects and sales forecasts
- Participate in managing customers and forecasts
- Ensure continuous improvement according to team needs
- Participate in onboarding new employees

Qualifications
- Minimum requirement: Degree in engineering discipline or relevant experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales in the robotics industry
- Previous experience in direct sales, selling solutions to end users or distributors—ideally a value-added approach, identifying problems and offering standard or tailored solutions.
- Account management and new customer development.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for building relationships.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a high-performing team.
- Willingness to travel across Spain and punctually to the countries of the southwest Europe region.
- Valid EU B1 driving license required.
- Residence and work permit in Spain.
- Languages: Spanish and English at a negotiation level.
