Job Description

  • Support entities worldwide with IFRS technical or reporting process-related questions during the group’s month-end close process and perform analysis of entity reporting packages
  • Prepare the group’s consolidated IFRS quarterly and annual reports
  • Serve as the IFRS accounting expert for the group, notably:
    • Provide IFRS technical advice to entities, incl. the preparation of accounting memos on more complex topics
    • Drive the continuous improvement of the group accounting policy and accounting guidance
    • Contribute to the proper application of changes in IFRS requirements (e.g., IFRS 18)
  • Be a key contact for group audit process matters
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the financial reporting process

Qualifications

  • Commercial education with advanced studies in Accounting (Swiss Federal Certificate of Proficiency in Finance and Accounting, Business Economist HF, CPA, ACCA, or similar)
  • Strong IFRS technical expertise
  • Practical experience with IFRS audits, either as part of an audit firm or as part of a multinational group
  • Experience with SAP ERP as well as consolidation tools (e.g., SAP and/or OneStream) is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical, communication and coordination skills
  • Fluent in English is required; German and/or French is a plus
