Job Description

POSITION: Account Manager, Power Transmission Distribution (PTD)

LOCATION: Malaysia (Puchong)

REPORTING LINE:  Local Division Director – Electrical Connectors Division (ECS)

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:  You work as part of a professional Sales/Account Management Team introducing our electrical connectors; starting with customer/prospect visits, calls and e-mail, evaluating solutions and finally get the orders, determinate your daily work.

 

Main Responsibility:

  • Develop new customers base in the region with a strong focus on Power, Transmission & Distribution (PTD) & General Industry applications.
  • Territorial coverage: Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines & Indonesia
  • During customer/prospect visits/phone calls you are require to understand their applications and introduce our solutions to address these applications
  • Maintaining existing customer base
  • Follow running projects closely 
  • Document your activities in our CRM system
  • Supporting all marketing activities not limited to exhibitions and social media
  • Regular feedback about market trends and received competitors’ activities, information/analysis.

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronics)
  • Minimum of 3 years experiences in Sales in electrical or related field.
  • Hands on experience in PTD sector will be a bonus.
  • Curious personality who wants to understand customers applications and likes to develop and propose innovative solutions 
  • Team player, self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently
  • Able to build strong customers relationships
  • Possess a car driving license, preferably with own vehicle
  • Willing to undertake traveling 60% of the time
  • Proficient in computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) 
  • Knowledge or previous experience with CRM would be a plus.

Additional Information

Familiar with PTD sector, field and contacts would be a bonus.
