We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Digital Transformation. This key leadership role will report directly to the Executive Vice President (EVP) of BA Technology and Project Delivery and will be an integral member of the BA management team. 

The SVP Digital Transformation will lead Statkraft’s global digital transformation by turning technology into real business value—driving faster, more robust delivery, smarter digitalisation, and innovation that scales across the company. The role builds strong partnerships across the organization, ensuring that digital solutions, data, and technology are closely aligned with strategic priorities and operational needs. This position sets the vision for Statkraft’s digital capabilities and leads execution across enterprise architecture, software development, system and platform management, information management, and emerging technologies.

Job Description

Areas of Responsibility and Accountabilities: 

  • Drive Statkraft’s digital transformation by defining and executing a business aligned digital strategy that adheres to Statkraft’s policies on compliance, cyber security, and risk management.  
  • Continuously monitor external digital trends and technologies, identifying which create real business value and translating these insights into targeted, strategic input for Statkraft.  
  • Accountable for IT deliveries to all business and staff areas, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions.  
  • Lead software development, integration management, and automation initiatives (including RPA) to enhance operational efficiency and support digital growth.  
  • Own platform and system management for applications and solutions with significant business-critical impact.  
  • Set and govern enterprise architecture standards, ensuring coherence and future-proof technology choices across the company.  
  • Lead Data Governance and Information Management, strengthening Statkraft’s ability to manage, govern, and capitalise on data as a strategic asset.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Engineering or other related fields. 
  • Extensive experience leading large-scale international IT and digital organisations at a senior level.
  • Proven ability to set and execute digital transformation strategies.
  • Strong track record in driving innovation and organizational change in a matrix organisation across geographies.
  • Competence within areas in scope of the position.

International leadership experience is required, as the role involves managing teams across multiple countries.
