Job Description

In the role as Consultant - Team Lead Quality, we are seeking a competent, self-driven and committed individual. It is a contractual position.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the entire quality aspect at the site.
  • The job -quality control at site Inputs/outputs inspection & records, laboratory functioning & sampling, ensuring production is as per ISO norms.
  • Preparation of the Project Quality Plans, Quality Control Plans and Project Quality Procedures which guarantee compliance with contractual requirements and ISO Standards.
  • Quality checking of site work, performing inspection of the Project material / Components & Checking/Inspection the Site Execution work.
  • Monitoring that proper quality standards are maintained at sites. Compliance to applicable manufacturing codes and Implementation of Field quality assurance plans.
  • Timely submission of Weekly Progress Report (WPR) or Construction Monitoring report (CMR), Non-conformity report (NCR), Site Observation Report (SOR), Project Quality Report (PQR).
  • Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and site In-charge for inspection and meeting about quality lapses including the closure of NCRs.
  • Resolution of quality-related problems at the site with the concurrence of client, if any. Conducting the Management Review Meetings at site for resolution of problems at site, if any.
  • Laboratory Testing and Preparation of Quality Control Reports. Internal Audits at site and at nearby sites.
  • Cary out inspection for erection methodology and testing for all electrical equipment and ensures construction activity at the site are as per approved Method of Statement (MOS) and Field Quality (FQP) and testing plan.
  • To ensure the erection, testing and commissioning of all electrical equipment as per approved FQP or OEM installation and testing guidelines.
  • Ensuring effective site management and discipline to ensure the safe execution of the project.
  • Testing of all substation equipment viz., Transformer, PT, CT, Lightning arresters, Circuit breaker, Isolators at site and Manufacturers place (if required).
  • Maintaining the proper record of quality documents for every activity such as calibration certificates, Field quality plan, (FQP) and checklists submitted by EPC for acceptance of work.
  • Preparation of project quality reports and punch list with appropriate mitigation techniques to get the compliance report from EPC for smooth handover of the project.
  • Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction.

Qualifications

We are looking for experienced personnel with the essential qualificaltions & skills that includes:

  • BE/ Electrical with more than 10 years of experience in electrical equipment’s erection & installation works.
  •  Experience- Min. +6 yrs. as an Electrical Site In-charge on a solar project in a MW scale.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality technical reports within the predefined deadline.
  • Knowledge of the software AutoCAD is mandatory and drawing review.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy principles, photovoltaic systems, and solar power plant components.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to solar power plant design and installation.
