Job Description
We are seeking a Power Platform Lead to support and optimize applications within the Microsoft Power Platform. This role will focus on solution design, governance, and lifecycle management of Power Platform tools while collaborating with developers, administrators, and business users. Candidates must be highly experienced in Power Platform administration and data structures, with a strong understanding of Microsoft best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management:
Design data structures in Dataverse
Assign permissions and enforce data security
Manage data flows and integrations
Application Lifecycle Management:
Oversee development and deployment of Power Apps and Power Automate flows
Manage solution promotion, version control, and backups
Environment Management:
Create and manage Power Platform environments
Assign licenses and monitor environment usage
Ensure compliance with organizational standards
Governance & Documentation:
Enforce policies and maintain documentation
Conduct performance assessments and log reviews
Stay aligned with Microsoft/DTMB best practices
Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide technical support to users and developers
Resolve performance and security issues
Collaboration:
Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements
Promote adoption of Power Platform across departments
Required Skills & Experience:
4+ years of Power Apps administration (Canvas/Model-Driven Apps, deployment, permissions)
4+ years of Dataverse experience (security roles, data modeling, relationships)
3+ years of Power Automate administration (flows, gateways, connections)
3+ years of Azure Active Directory / Entra ID (user/group management, conditional access)
2+ years of Power BI (workspaces, datasets, sharing, security)
2+ years of Power Platform governance (DLP, audit/logs, strategy)
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Customer-oriented and adaptable in fast-paced environments
Nice to Have:
Experience using Git for source control in Power Platform
PowerShell scripting for automation and environment maintenance
Qualifications
These duties are too complex and specialized to be performable with a bachelor’s degree related to computer science or computer information systems or information technology.
