Job Description

  • Data Engineering/ETL via Python and SQL scripts

  • Creating and maintaining automated tasks/jobs

  • Meeting with customers to understand business needs and translating them into actionable tasks

  • Developing simple form based web applications to streamline tasks for end users

  • Creating and maintaining data-driven monitoring/alerting systems

Qualifications

Experiences in the following areas:

  • Relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, and NoSQL databases
  • Data modeling, data access, data storage, ETL techniques, and Big Data Integration & Analytics
  • Cloud computing experience such as AWS and Azure Version control system (Git etc.) and CI/CD platforms like (Jenkins etc.)
  • Python, Unix Shell scripting and Dependency driven job schedulers
  • Building dashboards in tools such Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights to end users
  • Task Orchestration and Management Tools (Airflow/Glue/Prefect/etc)
  • Experience integrating systems through APIs
  • Previous consulting experience is a plus
