Job Description

What Will You be Doing

  • Engage with clients to gather and understand challenges, requirements, and specifications

  • Turn requirements into mock-ups/wireframes and build dashboards to answer business questions

  • Represent data visualization best practices

  • Help formulate business metrics and KPIs

  • Adapt and learn about the client's business domain to understand the use cases

  • Drive UATs and give live demos

  • Prepare documentation and training materials, run workshops to train users

  • Daily communication with stakeholders, project managers and end-users

  • Work together with other functional teams like data engineers, business analysts, BI developers

  • Identify potential problems, risks (e.g. data quality, poor specification, etc.) and take initiative to indicate them on the appropriate forums

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • You have solid Tableau expertise

  • Strong visualization skills

  • Understanding data visualization and dashboard design best practices

  • 1-5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, data visualization

  • At least basic SQL knowledge and understanding of relational databases

  • At least basic understanding of Tableau Server and user governance

  • Experience with Power BI (preferred), QlikView/Sense, or other visualization tools is an advantage

Depending on your preferred area of expertise: (back-end, front-end):

Data preparation:

  • Advanced SQL, Python

  • Alteryx (preferred), KNIME, Tableau Prep, etc.

  • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data modeling

  • Comfortable working in on-premise or cloud environments (like AWS or Azure)

Front-end, UX/UI design:

  • Experience in at least one graphic design tool (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Affinity, etc.)

  • Prototyping capability in at least one tool (Figma, Sketch, XD, etc)

  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS is an advantage

Soft Skills:

  • Confident in written and spoken English

  • Able to communicate across a diverse organization

  • College or university degree (or equivalent work experience)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Flexibility

  • Confidence to demonstrate professional skepticism and challenge client requirements, communicate limitations as expected from a consultant

  • Comfortable working in teams or on your own 

  • Ability to prioritize and self-organize

  • Keep up to date with the latest business intelligence trends

Salary range. We believe in open communication and no BS. For this role, depending on your experience and level of expertise, the salary range is between gross 760.000 - 1.080.000.

Some Further Practical Details:

Start date: As soon as possible, but if you currently work somewhere and have a notice period, it’s still fine, we will wait for the right person!

Home office now: Our guideline is for everyone to be in-office for two days a week. But, we don't track it, we don't check it, and we keep an open mind, anyone can discuss with their team leaders to change this, depending their own situation. We want everyone to come in for the right reasons: to see colleagues in real life, to have brainstorming together next to a whiteboard, and for those chance meetings in the hall or by the coffee machine.
