Job Description

Sales

  • Proficient in managing FIT, GIT and Corporate Clients (both local, expat and foreign) such as companies, embassies, NGOs etc.
  • Competent in managing and closing sales enquiries across all channels (e.g. phones, email, FB messenger and in-person meeting), especially group sales
  • Ability to organise and manage large-scale events (e.g. wedding) - enquiries and successfully seal the deal 
  • A mentor and trainer - train and guide the Sales executive
  • Detail-oriented with the administrative duties such as invoicing, confirmation, updating of Sales & Reservation file, monthly sales report and others sales-related documents
  • Work with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, internally (e.g. Finance - invoicing, payment, refunds and reports) and externally (e.g. events, clients, vendors/ suppliers) with finance department for payment, refund and reports 
  • Brainstorm and strategize new products and packages alongside with the Management
  • Proficiently manages guests' complaints alongside with the Management

Marketing 

  • Adequate knowledge and insights of the current market challenges in tourism and F&B industry 
  • Manages 3 Facebook Pages alongside the General Manager
  • Weekly marketing planning and advertising targets 
  • Design & Artwork (Tools: Photoshop or Canvas) 
  • Content Writing (Proficiency in both English & Burmese)
  • Advertisement planning - Product & Packages
  • Collaborated-marketing with other corporate businesses such as insurance companies, banks, telco, business association etc.
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned (e.g. updating of monthly marketing report)

Qualifications

  • Minimally 3 years of experience in the hospitality/ travel industry
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Highly motivated, a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a collaborative team player.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Burmese (verbal and written)
  • Excellent negotiating and influencing ability and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving skills and ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
