Project Surveyor Jobs in the Midlands/ South at Stannah - Join Our Team!
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Project Surveyor to support the successful delivery of lift installation projects from pre-construction through to installation.
This Project Surveyor role is responsible for ensuring that all projects are properly prepared, technically compliant, and completed to the highest standards of quality and health & safety.
You will cover a region from the Midlands and the South of England.
Acting as the key liaison between customers, sales, operations, and installation teams, you will manage site surveys, dimensional checks, pre-start inspections, and customer communications to ensure installations are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.
You will combine technical expertise with outstanding customer service skills, ensuring projects are prepared correctly, risks are identified early, and installations are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
This is a Home-Based role, with travel to head office and customer sites
Working hours will be Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 16:45 and Friday, 8:00 – 16:15
Project Surveyor Responsibilities:
- Manage lift installation projects by conducting site surveys, dimensional checks, and pre-start inspections to ensure successful project delivery.
- Champion health and safety standards, ensuring compliance and site readiness before installation work begins.
- Provide expert technical advice to customers, sales teams, and operational colleagues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, problem-solving, and professional site management.
- Maintain accurate reports, coordinate project activities, and ensure installations

Qualifications
Project Surveyor Requirements:
- Experience within the construction industry, ideally involving platform lift installation , platform lifts and stairisers and / or servicing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical, architectural, and construction drawings.
- Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
