Are you an experienced Service Operations Manager who thrives on improving performance, enhancing customer service, and driving continuous improvement?

We're looking for a dynamic Service Operations Manager to lead the safe and efficient delivery of servicing, repairs, and modernisation across our UK portfolio of lifts, stairlifts, and lifting equipment. You'll use data and operational insight to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency while fostering a culture that encourages teams to work smarter, not harder.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader with a strong track record in the lift industry, or a comparable service-led engineering environment, who can inspire high-performing teams, build strong stakeholder relationships, and drive sustainable business success.

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 9.00-5.15 and Friday, 9.00 4.45.

Service Operations Manager Responsibilities:

  • Analyse service data, identify improvement opportunities, and support branches in enhancing safety, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Manage people, budgets, and resources to deliver business objectives and exceptional customer service.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on maintenance, repairs, modernisation projects, retrofit programmes, and bespoke contracts.
  • Optimise parts management, operational processes, and branch assets to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Coach managers, support training and apprenticeships, and build a high-performing, customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

Service Operations Manager Requirements:

  • Significant experience in the lift industry or a similar service-led engineering environment.
  • Proven track record in managing complex maintenance and repair operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing managers and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer service skills.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification, with a valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
