Job Description

NOTE: This role does not offer Relocation or Sponsorship. Applicants must be eligible to work in Jersey

Credit Support is accountable for assisting credit managers in the day-to-day administration of their credit portfolio, through in-work collaboration with the credit managers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification: 

  • First Degree in Business Commerce

Experience Required :

  • 1-2 years experience in Credit Risk 
  • General business or credit knowledge; ability to interact with financial statements.

Key Outputs :

  • Support Credit Manager with daily excess management by investigating excessing, liaising with business stakeholders and escalating excesses to Credit stakeholders for approval in line with the relevant policies.
  • Prepare standard decisioning credit applications, pending auto-decisioning, and escalate all exceptions flagged on the auto decisioning credit portfolio to the relevant DA.
  • Ensure that Loss Given Default (LGD) overrides are amended in Regulatory Capital Calculator (RCC), by following up on monthly reporting queries received from Capital and Business teams with regards to exceptions. Filter these reports for the teams. Investigate possible reasons for exceptions by looking at
  • Filter and include various reports into the weekly report by extracting information from ADAPTIV and Credit rating systems and distribute it to all stakeholders (Executives, Unit Heads and their respective teams) and assist with follow ups.
  • Build good relationships with Business stakeholders and facilitate recurring meetings to ensure all information deliverables are met. Follow up on DA2 and DA3 action items. Identify, manage and escalate breaches.
