Job Description

To proactively direct the Service Lifecyle management of large and complex customer facing business IT services, comprising relevant business services, applications, systems, vendors, and dependencies, by leading teams across multiple portfolios and geographies. Provide strategic and operational holistic service insights, management information and recommendations, as input into CIO decisions and actively driving service improvement initiatives.

  • Manage and optimise Service costs relating to HAM, SAM, people other operational expenses. Support the CIO and Finance teams to ensure completeness of service budgets by reviewing costs against capacity plans for SAM, HAM and 3rd party contracts.
  • Develop and implement according to the IT Strategy that aligns with the intricacy of the service, carefully considering the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) budget, to ensure the optimal allocation of resources and maximise return on investment, while mitigating risks and minimising costs, thereby creating a scalable, flexible and sustainable IT ecosystem that drive business value and operational excellence.
  • Facilitate a collaborative innovation and integrated delivery, spanning the entire value chain, to provide clients with comprehensive, end-to-end solutions that meet their complex needs, by harnessing the power of collective intelligence, encouraging open communication, and promoting a culture of trust, transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Identify benefits realisation (value) of Business Services against Business/BU Goals. Collaborate with Product Owners to develop comprehensive service plans, defining the strategic service roadmaps, outlining the sequence of activities, timelines, and resources required to deliver and enhance the service support. Ensuring alignment with business objectives, client needs, market and technology trends, enabling the effective delivery of high-quality services, driving business success & growth.
  • Active participation in Group ceremonies, PI planning, PMR’s, CAB. Develop and mature complex, cross functional relationships in the CTO, IPS, ITSM and IT Finance domains, to facilitate the exchange of expertise, resources and knowledge, and ensure the alignment of goals, strategies and business outcomes, ultimately leading to enhanced IT service delivery business outcomes and organisational agility, to support the creation & support of large, complex, high focus services.

Qualifications

  • Degree: Information Technology

Additional Information

Experience Required: Delivery Enablement

8-10 years: Experience in leading service management processes for large and diverse portfolio's. Proven knowledge and application of ITSM practice

8-10 years: Have good knowledge of domain appropriate technology strategies. Proven application of service management processes and framework

8-10 years: Have knowledge of domain operations, understanding of ecosystems, suppliers and broad technical knowledge of the technology, solutions and service catalogue consumed by countries
