Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Admin or Junior Project Manager to support the successful delivery of projects across the business. The successful candidate will assist with planning, coordination, reporting, stakeholder communication, and project administration to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role is ideal for an individual looking to grow their project management career in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Matric, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience Required

  • 3-10  years Experience in end-to-end administrative duties across a programme or project environment., this includes documentation management, diary management and budget administration.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing projects from initiation to completion.
  • Support senior project managers in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Track project progress and ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes and action items.
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders, team members, and management.
  • Monitor project risks and issues, escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Assist with resource allocation and workload planning.
  • Support change management processes and project governance requirements.
  • Prepare status reports, presentations, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Follow up on outstanding tasks and drive accountability across project teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and project management best practices.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-10 years of project coordination or project management experience.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
  • CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
