Job Description
Responsible for translating the bank's strategic objectives into actionable process architecture that drive operational excellence across the organization. This role bridges strategic vision with operational execution, designing enterprise-wide process ecosystems that maximize value creation through efficiency, quality, and compliance. Partners with senior stakeholders, business leaders, and the operational excellence team to define, optimize, and evolve standardized processes that form the foundation of the Operational Excellence and Digital Operating Models.
Qualifications
Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Information Technology, Engineering or related
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent advanced process improvement certification required.
- Process management (e.g., BPM Institute, APQC PCBOK).
- Enterprise architecture

Process Architecture and Standards Design
- Design a comprehensive process architecture that supports the enterprise architecture, strategic priorities and operational excellence capabilities. This includes defining process taxonomies, establishing process governance models, and creating scalable process frameworks that enable consistent execution across the organization.
- Develop detailed process blueprints for critical bank processes, incorporating best practices from industry frameworks such as LEAN, Six Sigma, and BPR (Business Process Reengineering), while ensuring alignment with banking regulations and risk management requirements.
- Establish and maintain a process landscape that documents all enterprise processes, identifying interdependencies, critical path activities, and opportunities for integration and simplification
Strategic Alignment
- Work closely with the all senior stakeholders, to ensure all process designs directly support strategic objectives and organizational goals.
- Develop business cases for process transformation initiatives, quantifying benefits including cost reduction, cycle time improvement, quality enhancements, and risk mitigation.
- Define performance metrics and KPIs for processes and monitor their effectiveness against agreed targets, providing regular business reviews and insight to leadership.
Process Improvement and Modernization
- Identify and lead process modernization opportunities, evaluating emerging technologies, methodologies, and practices that could enhance process performance. This includes assessing the suitability of automation, digitization, and intelligent automation (RPA, AI, workflow technologies) for various processes.
- Collaborate with the automation team to design technically sound, maintainable, and scalable automation solutions.
- Champion continuous improvement culture, establishing governance for ongoing process monitoring and enhancement, identifying quick wins and strategic transformation initiatives.
Process Mining and Intelligence
- Collaborate with Data & Insights Specialist to embed data-driven insights into process designs, ensuring visibility of process performance and enabling evidence-based decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management
- Provide thought partnership to business leaders, helping them understand process performance, articulate improvement priorities, and navigate transformation initiatives.
- Manage multiple, complex stakeholder relationships, balancing competing priorities and building consensus around process change. Support change management efforts by coaching teams on new processes, addressing resistance, and building adoption capability.Team Leadership and Capability Building
Mentor and guide the reports, providing technical direction and ensuring delivery of high-quality process models and designs.
