Job Description
To deliver clear, engaging and consistent communications that strengthen employee engagement, support leadership messaging, and protect and enhance the organisation’s reputation through effective internal communications, PR and day‑to‑day communications support.

Key responsibilities
Internal communications and engagement
- Develop and deliver internal communications strategies that support business priorities, change initiatives and culture.
- Own and manage internal channels (intranet, email, leadership updates, townhalls, campaigns), ensuring content is clear, timely and engaging.
- Partner with senior leaders, People & Culture and business teams to shape messages that resonate with employees.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and internal campaigns, measuring impact and effectiveness.
External communications and PR
- Support media relations activity, including drafting press releases, reactive statements and media responses.
- Assist with spokesperson preparation, key messages and Q&A documents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and, where relevant, external PR partners.
- Monitor media coverage and flag reputational risks or opportunities.
- Support crisis and issues management communications when required.
General communications support
- Draft, edit and proofread a wide range of communications materials, ensuring consistency of tone and brand, including client and internal communications, media releases, social media content, etc.
- Contribute to content planning and messaging frameworks across internal and external audiences.
- Ensure communications comply with regulatory, governance and brand requirements.
