Job Description
NOTE: This role is not open to Relocation or Sponsorship. Jersey residents are eligible to apply.
To lead and drive the Bank's primary regulatory relationship and effective running of the end-to-end engagement process with the key regulatory stakeholders. To provide specialised advice to the Group Compliance Function on key operational aspects such as the Compliance Risk Management Value Transformation, Logical Access Management, Operational Risk, Financial Management and the governance applicable to the Compliance Toolbox.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
- First Degree in Legal
Experience Required :
- 3 - 4 years experience in Compliance
- Experience in managing the relationship with Regulatory bodies would be required. Knowledge of Standard Bank Group holistically, banking products and the remit and purpose of Group Compliance and the broader support functions of the Bank would be required.
- The candidate should have sound experience in the arena of Regulatory and Administration Management.
Key Outputs :
- Collaborate with the Business Compliance Business Partners to ensure the Compliance Toolbox consists of the latest frameworks, standards and artefacts.
- Identify opportunities across the Compliance Function to digitise and automate manual processes in order to realise the strategic objectives of the Bank for digitisation.
- Lead and drive financial management for the Compliance Function by controlling and processing payments to ensure adherence to Procurement policies and standards.
- The ability to coordinate multiple administrative activities to enable the efficient operations of a department.
- The ability to effectively and efficiently manage business related data in an accurate manner, through the application of various technologies.
