Job Description

The Head - Benefits Processing Centre (BPC) ensures the administration of effective and efficient back-office operations regarding the disbursement of benefits to eligible clients, analysis of payments and reporting for all benefits transactions. He/She aids the achievement of the organisation’s objectives by harnessing the human capacity, process currency and documentation, strict adherence to policies and regulations as well as the design and implementation of control measures to ensure accuracy and timeliness of benefits payments and other deliverables.

Qualifications

  • First Degree in related field
  • Post Graduate qualifications in Finance, business related or quantitative discipline is an added advantage
  • 10 years  experience in effective management of benefits transaction requests and tracking of resolution to ensure no instruction is omitted or delayed.
  • Advanced knowledge of pension operations and benefits administration, including withdrawal benefits, programmed withdrawal, annuities, and death benefit processing
  • Proven track record in ensuring adequate documentation of benefits processes and payment checklists for all categories of benefits applications
  • Expertise in high-volume transaction processing, including NEFT and other payment platforms and proven ability to manage failed/returned transactions and client resolution workflows.
  • Deep understanding of pension regulations, compliance requirements, and regulatory reporting standards and ability to interpret policies, enforce controls, and ensure audit readiness
