To provide technical data management solutions by overseeing the creation of data acquisition and data warehousing solutions, to applicable architecture, solution designs, standards and governance requirements in country. To expand and optimise the data and data pipeline architecture and develop and implement tools to monitor the quality and flow of data across all business lines. To manage 3rd party suppliers in delivering the technical data landscape in country.

Minimum Qualification: 

• Post Graduate Degree in Information Technology

Experience Required :

• 3 - 4 years experience in Technology Management
• Proven experience in demand and stakeholder management Integrating strategies with service providers to deliver large scale change projects from concept to implementation
• 5 - 7 years in Technology
• Experience in working with senior business and technology stakeholders, balancing strategic requirements and delivery constraints. Deep knowledge and understanding of a variety of data platforms, including AWS based and big data tools and relational database servers, e.g. Apache Hadoop and other NoSQL data platforms. Experience working in a multi-vendor and outsourced IT environment. A good understanding and proven track record in Agile development ways of working is required.
• Proven experience in building and optimising 'big data' data pipelines, architectures and data sets. Proven experience in building databases, warehouses and reporting solutions, and building data integration solutions. Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools, and cloud services e.g. Redshif. Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement

Key Outputs :

• Guide the data management team (data engineers, software developers, database architects, data analysts) on technical data initiatives to enable optimal data delivery architecture that is consistent, meets business needs and complies to regulatory requirements in country.
• Identify opportunities to provide integrated data solutions through collaboration with business line leaders and align outcomes with the defined governance procedures.
• Identify opportunities to shape the direction of and optimise and or re-design the data architecture to support the next generation of data initiatives in country.
• Interpret business requirements and identify data requirements in order to construct data acquisition, warehousing and reporting solutions, aligned to applicable architecture, solution designs, standards, policies and governance requirements, in response to the needs of business line leadership.
• Investigate and understand the needs from Country Data function for information and data and guide data scientists to develop ways of presenting such information in clear and logical ways to aid consumption and facilitate decisionmaking
