Job Description

To provide transactional support to the Banker in Enterprise Direct, in servicing customers, attending to basic customer queries and providing credit administration support.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

  • First degree in relevant field of study (Accounting, Finance, Credit etc.)

Experience

  • 5-7 years' experience in Banking.
  • Experience in sales and relationship management of clients.
  • Experience in customer service and business acumen.
  • Ability to drive profitability and build relationships or leverage from client’s interactions and touch points. 
  • Proven successful track record in sales and service. 
  • Knowledge of the bank’s products, services and digital platforms.
  • Knowledge of credit principles, branch banking processes, procedures, policies and bank products and services

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell a range of appropriate products and solutions that meet the financial needs of small and medium business customers
  • Identify sales leads for associate company stakeholders e.g. Vehicle and Asset Finance; Electronic Banking; Trade; Global Markets; etc
  • Mine existing customer data to identify expansion and/or additional business opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to migrate top-end customers to Commercial Banking
  • Providing a central (information/ query handling) service point for a portfolio of Enterprise Direct customers
  • Ensure KYC documentation, regulatory compliance and control is adhered to.
  • Participate and leverage of specific campaigns and marketing activities as required to achieve sales aspirations
  • Monitor daily excesses to ensure that client facilities are managed within the parameters set by Credit and make recommendations to Credit for temporary facilities, where necessary
