Job Description

This role is designed to strengthen our ability to leverage data insights, unify storytelling, and sharpen both client acquisition and client retention through education and innovation. This role will position Stanbic IBTC to differentiate through clear, credible, and human centered story telling powered by data.

As a market leader in pensions and a top-tier player in asset management, our differentiation cannot rest on products alone, to sustain leadership we must tell our story better – to clients, regulators, and the market – with proof anchored in the data.

  • Collect, consolidate, and analyse marketing, client, and product performance data across Insurance and Asset Management subsidiaries.
  • Develop dashboards and reports that highlight ROI, acquisition trends, and retention performance.
  • The analyst will translate performance data, awards, and benchmarks into stories that showcase Stanbic IBTC as the clear leader across pensions, asset management, insurance, brokers and trustees.
  • Create story-driven reports and infographics for quarterly Board packs, Exco updates, and regulatory submissions.
  • Support subsidiaries with tailored storytelling that highlights their value propositions.
  • Use data to segment and understand under-30 clients.
  • Create storytelling campaigns that make financial products relatable, aspirational, digital-first.

Qualifications

  • BSc Social Science, Business, Marketing or equivalent.

Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in data analytics, marketing insights, or strategic communications.
  • Experience in financial services, consulting, or consumer marketing with a Strong track record of turning data into compelling narratives or campaigns.
