Job Description

To manage major and/or strategic projects through the application of best-practice project management skills, tools and techniques, whilst engaging with and leading cross-functional teams to deliver scalable business solutions within the required parameters in terms of scope, cost and quality. The role requires strong leadership, analytical acumen and the ability to drive complex initiatives that align with organisational strategy and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of large-scale strategic projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, agreed timelines and approved budgets.
  • Drive effective stakeholder engagement and communication across all levels, including executive leadership, to maintain alignment, commitment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing robust governance and control frameworks to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Foster a culture of project management excellence through mentoring, adherence to standards and the continuous improvement of methodologies and delivery practices.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Commerce or Project Management (required).
  • Postgraduate Degree in Business Commerce or Project Management (preferred)


Experience Required:

  • 8–10 years’ proven experience leading and delivering large-scale, strategic projects end-to-end, managing cross-functional teams and complex workstreams within defined scope, time and budget.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project governance, financial management and risk mitigation, including budget forecasting, stakeholder reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Strong background in stakeholder engagement and change management, effectively influencing senior leadership, facilitating communication and driving adoption of new systems or processes.
  • Proven ability to mentor teams and embed best-practice methodologies, fostering continuous improvement, collaboration and excellence in project delivery.
