Job Description

To grow, manage, and retain a portfolio of high-value private banking clients by delivering tailored financial solutions aligned with the segment’s value proposition. This includes executing initiatives that enhance client experience, deepen relationships, and drive sustainable value for both the client and the bank.

Qualifications

Qualification and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in sales, service, and relationship management within the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability in credit application preparation and financial solutioning, with strong financial acumen.
  • A track record of successful sales performance in banking or financial services.
  • 3–5 years of working experience in Relationship Banking or a similar client-facing role.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, offering personalized financial solutions aligned with the client value proposition.
  • Apply sound account management practices to ensure optimal credit portfolio performance and reduce financial risks.
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) protocols.
  • Advise clients on lending products, prepare and submit quality credit applications, and conduct credit reviews.
  • Analyze client financial behavior and needs to identify and deliver mutually beneficial financial solutions.
  • Act on client instructions within mandate, ensuring proper indemnities are in place and escalating when necessary.
  • Educate clients on lending processes, credit maintenance, and account conduct expectations.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to ensure segmentation alignment and achievement of portfolio financial objectives.
