Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Partner, People & Culture to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with senior leadership to drive our people strategy, fostering a positive organisational culture and ensuring alignment between our human resources initiatives and business objectives.
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organisational goals
- Provide expert guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and performance management
- Lead talent acquisition and development initiatives to attract and retain top talent
- Design and deliver organisational development programmes to enhance employee engagement and productivity
- Manage change initiatives and support cultural transformation efforts
- Analyse HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with South African labour laws and regulations
- Collaborate with the HR team to streamline processes and enhance service delivery
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HR, with a focus on business partnering
- CIPD qualification or equivalent is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, practices, and South African labour laws
- Strong expertise in talent management, organisational development, and change management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Proven ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and HR analytics tools
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
