Job Description
To support the Business Head to implement a broad range of programmes, projects and initiatives to achieve its strategic objectives and address delivery gaps, implement and maintain governance standards, manage business performance and financial measures and continuously improve operational efficiency of the team. Responsibilities are directed by critical business priorities of the Business Head.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the central point of contact, coordinating resources to manage projects and key initiatives.
Advise stakeholders on risk management best practices and frameworks to enhance operational resilience.
Collaborate with Risk, Internal Audit, and Compliance to embed risk management practices.
Consolidate business performance measures and provide insights for decision-making.
Oversee status reporting on initiatives, metrics, and strategic implementation progress.
Develop and implement tactical plans to drive the Group strategy across business functions.
Enhance reporting effectiveness to support business performance monitoring.
Lead operational budget planning in collaboration with Finance.
Engage directly with clients to resolve challenges and maintain strong relationships.
Drive the people agenda in partnership with the People & Culture team.
Manage vendor delivery and strategic partnerships to optimize operations.
Address regulatory changes and operational risks to ensure compliance.
Oversee resource selection, including contractors and vendors, to enhance capabilities.
Support internal communications, stakeholder engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
Partner with Marketing on media responses and reputation management.
Proactively identify risks and implement metrics to improve resilience.
Champion initiatives that enhance client engagement and sales enablement.
Stay ahead of industry trends, legislation, and regulations within the business area.
Qualifications
Qualification: Degree Business Commerce / Finance / Accounting
Advantageous: Post Graduate Degree in Project Management
Experience Required
5 - & years experience in managing broad range of projects to completion to achieve defined business objectives or metrics.
8-10 years experience in influencing stakeholders at different levels across a multiple of disciplines to achieve shared outcomes, specifically within a financial services environment.
Experience in business performance reporting, project planning, execution including coordination of diverse teams across business functions and geographies and in cash data analytics and business insights, cash supply chain management and distribution network modelling and design. Experience in cash cost, revenue, service and risk analysis and optimisation models.
