Job Description
Lead and manage the end to end solution capability for the most complex Transaction Banking solution portfolio / market, develop and implement strategic plans and set effective targets to achieve portfolio P&L, meet client expectations and grow market share.
Essential Functions
- Own, set and drive delivery against strategic plans and set effective targets to achieve the portfolio P&L, meet client expectations and grow market share.
- Provide relevant market insight and input towards the global solution set strategy.
- Supports high complexity execution at country level
- Define and maintain a competitive portfolio value proposition, identify new opportunities, and proactively build relationships to influence and lobby through thought leadership and market advocacy.
- Define, communicate and engage, monitor, review, approve and manage deviations, NPC for new and change the bank solutions
- Build and lead the solution delivery framework and operating model, driving strategic plans and measuring results, consolidating and aggregating financial performance and profitability across the solution portfolio. Own the validation of investment business cases, priorities, and decision making for the function.
- Lead best in class solution design and development from origination to implementation.
- Set the standards for solution design and development, vetting country solution design and testing outcomes in line with delegation of authority.
- Act as a solutioning expert, bringing deep technical understanding and support across the entire solution footprint.
- Oversee solutions enablement and manage escalations
Qualifications
Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Business Commerce
Experience Required
- Ability to engage at a senior level with corporate clients on the solutioning requirements
- Strong subject matter expertise in payments and collections
- Exposure and also well networked in South Africa and Africa Regions
