Job Description
The Head of Shari'ah Treasury & Finance is a vital role tasked with managing global Shari'ah treasury functions and ensuring effective asset-liability management (ALM) across regions. The position requires advanced expertise in risk management, financial planning, and Shari'ah-compliant banking operations.
Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field
- Additional certifications in Islamic Finance or Shari'ah-compliant banking are highly advantageous
Experience Required
A seasoned professional with 8-10 years of expertise in Risk Management, Finance, Global Markets, and Corporate Banking, specializing in Islamic banking. Demonstrated proficiency in managing Consumer and High Net Worth products within Shari'ah-compliant institutions, coupled with advanced treasury and risk management capabilities.Extensive knowledge of global treasury operations, asset-liability management, and Shari'ah-compliant financial practices.
Proven ability to develop and execute risk management strategies in Islamic banking.
- Advanced analytical skills, financial modeling proficiency, and data-driven decision-making expertise.
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Deep understanding of Shari'ah compliance standards and international banking regulations.
- Skilled in navigating regulatory environments across diverse jurisdictions.
