Job Description
To drive financial control standards, with a specific focus on, but not limited to, the inter-company (IC) & inter-divisional (ID) pre-consolidation processes across the Group. Provide subject matter expertise to ensure that IC & ID balances are matched, reporting is accurate, valid and complete, and that the risk of losses and misleading reporting is minimised. Prepare board packs and Annual Financial Statements for all legal entities to enable effective decision-making at strategic level.

Minimum Qualifications
Type of Qualification: Post Graduate Degree
Field of Study: Finance and Accounting
Other Minimum Qualifications, Certifications or Professional Memberships: Registered CA(SA) or equivalent (ACCA, CGMA, etc) qualification
Experience Required
Financial Control
Finance & Value Management
3-4 years
Practical experience and good insight into ERP systems and the flow of information through various systems. Experience in dealing with foreign currency translations and revaluations, hedging, acquisitions and disposals of subsidiaries, joint ventures and financial investments.
5-7 years
This role requires specialist experience in Financial Control but very specifically financial consolidation experience at a multi-national listed Group of companies with complex organisational structures and extensive inter-company transactions. Technical IFRS accounting background and experience.
