Job Description

To use discipline and business knowledge to perform specific analyses, advise on alternative solutions / advice, support key initiatives and provide insights to ensure the implementation of proposed solutions / advices and support decision making.  

Timely execution in line with existing policies, quality standards and guidelines

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting or a relevant discipline
  • B Commerce with Honours
  • CIMA, CA(SA)


Experience Required

  • 3-4 years (post articles) or 5-7 years in similar role.
  • Beginning to develop in-depth knowledge about the Decision Support / CFVO capability as a whole and/ or in an area of specialisation (product, geography, coverage)                                                   
  • Basic financial experience reading and analyzing financial information
  • Demonstrated experience building and delivering against annual plans that support the execution of strategy
  • Track record solving a range of straightforward problems and analysing possible solutions using standard procedures.
  • Demonstrated track record using technical knowledge, logical data driven arguments to influence
  • Demonstrated ability utilizing accounting systems (e.g. sub-ledgers, expert at IT systems, Excel)
