Job Description
To develop, direct and lead all Risk Assurance engagement within the global CIB Risk function. To support the Risk heads in respect of independent oversight, qualitative assurance, and reporting to Risk Management to CIB Risk Management Committees and Senior executives. In discharging this assurance function, CRA places high priority on providing expert, meaningful insight, recommendations and developing solutions with the BUs, legal entities and associated stakeholder. The modernization of the Risk Assurance function leveraging the Risk App Store and digital tool technologies embedded in the business. Develop the function away from historic sample-based periodic reviews to continuous population testing focussed on digital solutions for improved risk control environment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Type of Qualification: Post Graduate Degree
- Field of Study: Business Commerce/Risk Management
- Other Minimum Qualifications, Certifications or Professional Memberships: SAICA, IASSA, or other banking and related professional bodies.
Experience Required
8-10 years Deep experience in risk analysis, management and decision-making. Must have a total minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience, out of which at least 8 must have been in the banking industry. Evidence of experience and leadership in at least three (3) major areas of banking operations. Senior Management/executive experience for at least 3 years.
