Job Description

We’re looking for a Head of Sales to accelerate the growth of our sales team. Someone who ticks all the boxes:

  • Sales Scientist  - you know how to sell, when to sell, and have awareness of sales psychology 

  • CRM Drill Sergeant - you know how important data and predictability are within the sales department. Forecasting is in your DNA

  • Coach and leader - you know that the success of your sales team depends upon the performance of individuals. You commit to recruiting, training, coaching and motivating your players to hit their targets.

  • Forecaster of the future - you plan 6 to 12 months ahead. Predicting what is needed and making sure plans and activity are aligned. 

  • Team Focused - you are consistent, communicative and put the success of your team at the forefront of your mind

Responsibilities

  • Line management of Sales Unit 

  • Weekly KPI reporting following existing process (to support 121s and performance management)

  • Running team meetings

  • Driving productivity amongst the team in line with the established process and outreach cadence

  • Driving MQL numbers and quality

  • Weekly 1on1 coaching with each team member

  • Monthly Forecasting on team performance to target

  • Lead generation as required to hit team target

  • Closing new business as required to hit team target

  • Demoing the product to prospective customers as required

  • Accountability for carrying the sales number

Qualifications

Essential Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a quota-carrying Inside Sales role i.e. closing via telephone/video call

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in an appointment setting role (SDR/BDR)

  • Outbound lead generation/prospecting

  • Experience of Metric Driven Sales Coaching

  • Experience successfully leading and managing a team

  • Record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas 

  • Passion, drive and the desire to be a part of a growing team that makes a difference for both the company and our clients

  • Exceptional in-person, verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment where self-motivation is key 

Desirable Experience

  • Experience selling to the Hospitality and Leisure sector

  • Experience working within a ‘production line’ sales models

  • CRM Management (creating dashboards/reports to monitor & drive efficiency)
