Our client is a global industrial supply company, seeking a Business Development Representative who can improve the company's market position and achieve financial growth within within the Metropolitan Detroit territory.

Job Description

In this role, you will contract new solutions to medium manufacturing and non-manufacturing customers in the early stages of the client life-cycle. You will sell solutions to Directors and Officers of our clients by following a sophisticated sales methodology.

Ideal candidates should be able to:

  • Negotiates and closes business deals
  • Align with the company's long-term strategic goals
  • Identify business opportunities & build customer relationships
  • Maintaining in depth knowledge of current market conditions.
  • Collaborate with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers.

Qualifications

  • C-suite presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Minimum of 2 years signing customers to contracts worth $200,000 - $500,000
  • Demonstrated success in developing program-level product/services offerings
  • Strong background in selling profitable solutions and services
