Responsibilities Include

• Working within a software delivery team made up of people that provide all software delivery disciplines:  user experience, design, architecture, analysis, software engineering, testing, and DevOps
• Working closely with analysts, architects and UX designers on solutions, designs, requirements and plans
• Modeling potential solutions using agile modeling techniques and standard modeling notations
• Contributing to the engineering of software across all layers of the stack
• Delivering a predictable amount of software every iteration
• Writing tests that are automatable and can provide broad coverage of implemented functionality
• Providing transparency into the delivery process through disciplined application of company traceability principles
• Performing code reviews informally and through merge requests
• Mentoring less experienced engineers
• Collaborating with our world-class Cloud Managed Services and DevOps teams to design and validate the release candidate pipeline; you are the expert on the services necessary to operate the software your team is  building

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of overall engineering experience
• Understanding of SOLID design principles
• Experience with application architecture, microservices architecture, software design and design patterns
• Experience modeling software solutions with standard notations such as the UML
• Experience with agile methodologies Scrum preferred and agile project management platforms, Jira a plus
• Full-stack JavaScript, Node and React
• Experience developing web-based software and using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, GWT
• Experience building RESTful services
• Experience with serverless technologies, AWS Lambda a plus
• Experience with relational databases and SQL, MySql a plus
• Experience with Git and version control concepts , Gitlab a plus
• Experience with NoSQL databases, DynamoDB a plus 
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and tooling, AWS Code* a plus 
• Experience with cloud infrastructure providers, AWS a plus 
• Experience with infrastructure as code, CloudFormation a plus
